Sober or Slammer campaign in effect until September 7. Please don't drink and drive.

🚔 TRPD is joining law enforcement agencies across South Carolina to help keep our roads safe this Labor Day season.

From August 19–September 7, the Travelers Rest Police Department is participating in the Labor Day Sober or Slammer / Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement campaign, an effort focused on preventing impaired driving and reminding everyone that getting behind the wheel impaired is never worth the risk.

TR Police Department will also join agencies across the state for MADD’s Saturation Saturday on August 29, a nationwide night of increased, highly visible traffic enforcement aimed at saving lives and keeping impaired drivers off the road.

As we head into Labor Day weekend, please make a plan before you celebrate:
🚗 Designate a sober driver
📱 Use a rideshare or call someone you trust
🔑 Never let a friend drive impaired
🚔 Remember: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over

Help us keep Travelers Rest—and roads across South Carolina—safe. If you drink, don’t drive. 💙
