Liberty Torch Pac would like to announce that we have reached the end of our useful life in this form. We are grateful for all the support we have had from the beleaguered Commercial Fishermen of North Carolina, TEA Party faithful, and Liberty folk.
It's been quite a run. We have nursed just under 30 thousand dollars over two election cycles and have had a successful record in electing constitutional conservatives to state and local office. Even the smallest efforts in races across the state generated huge response advertising by crony capitalists attempting to offset our efforts, often outspending us in excess of 20 or 30 to one. Such efforts opened the door for other candidates in other races by siphoning off of the funds of the establishment protectorate.
Moving forward, a new vehicle by another name with new administrators will be in order. It has been a most enjoyable experience and we want to thank, in particular, Willie Etheridge, Mikey Daniels, Finn Gaddy, Browny Douglas, Rep. Walter Jones and Nicole Revels for all they did to make this endeavor a success and enjoyable effort.
Last week, a check was cut to the Pitt Greenville Civil Air Patrol Composite Unit, a non profit that teaches young people about aviation, leadership, search and rescue, and much more. The cutting of this check will zero out the balances of Liberty Torch Pac and allow us to close.
Thanks again for following us and for all you have done to restore Liberty to our state and local governments.
