Our wonderful friends from the Ladybug Garden Club did it again!!

They led us in creating these beautiful canvases that just make us want to road trip to the ocean!! 🌟💦🐚🌞🕶️

They also treated us to delicious homemade brownies and treats!!! Thank you, ladies, for such a fun afternoon! 🥰

💦☀️Grab your kiddos and join us for our next day at the splashpad!! 💦☀️

The Darke County Early Intervention holds playgroups at the Darke DD facility twice a month for children between ages of 2-3 who are enrolled in EI or HMG Home Visiting Program.

During the summer months, the playgroups are held at the local splash pads and parks where siblings and friends may join.

Yesterday, the EI playgroup took advantage of the beautiful sunshine at the South Side Park in Greenville. New friendships were formed as the kids and parents enjoyed the day together. After some fun in the sun, we enjoyed a picnic under the shelter house.

The upcoming splash pad dates are as follows:

July 8 from 11am-12p behind Do Good Restaurant and Ministry, 25 Main Street Osgood, Ohio
August 12 from 11am-12p at Arcanum Park-
Consider bringing a packed lunch and having a picnic afterwards.

In the event of bad weather, please check the Darke DD page for possible cancellations.

Our Sensory Movies have been a huge hit and we want to thank The Wayne Theatre for continuing to offer monthly showings!

Next up.....Toy Story 5!!!

Remember....this is the perfect time to introduce someone to the movie experience without the judgement or the need to follow typical movie theater social behavior.

We understand that someone with sensory issues may not be able to sit quietly or tolerate a typical movie experience....and that's OK!!

Did you know that our county is well stocked with BLESSING BOXES
to help feed our various communities?

There is even a blessing box for pets - located in Greenville at the corner of Rhoades and Wagner Avenue 🐕‍🦺🐈 🥰
Thank you Radiant Lighthouse for providing this much needed resource!

Filling these boxes is just one of the many "give back" projects our Outreach and Advocacy in Action group "OAA" (previously known as Aktion Club) does on a monthly basis.

But, it takes a village....if you feel led, please consider taking non-perishables to a box in your neighborhood - particularly now that kids are out of school for the summer.
