AmeriCorps Upstate AmeriCorps Upstate recruits and manages team members who dedicate 1 year to serving their community a Fight poverty and find your path with AmeriCorps Upstate.

United Way of Greenville County is a recipient of an AmeriCorps grant. We recruit, train, and support a team of 25 AmeriCorps members each year for our AmeriCorps Upstate program each year. Members are matched with host nonprofit organizations across the Upstate for a year of full-time service. Our members help those in need navigate community resources, teach basic financial literacy, and help pr

epare taxes at local free tax clinics through VITA. Some of the benefits of being an AmeriCorps member include the $6,345+ Segal Education Award, a monthly living allowance, health insurance, and child care assistance. We also provide monthly professional development trainings. Join our team and make a difference in the community!
