A heartfelt thank you to author Marissa for spending time with our YMCA Judson kids, sharing her story, and pouring such a meaningful message into them. Her words opened the door for honest conversations about jealousy, celebrating others, believing in yourself, and understanding that there is room for everyone to shine.

Watching our kids listen, engage, and connect with Marissa’s message was truly special. She didn’t just share a book. She created a moment where our kids felt seen, encouraged, and empowered. That kind of impact stays with a child. 💙

Our preschoolers had an amazing morning at the library with DJ Pre- K ! The music was pumping, the smiles were nonstop, and our little dancers had so much fun moving, grooving, and getting some much-needed energy out.

Dance and movement activities help build coordination, confidence, listening skills, and social connections, all while allowing children to express themselves and have fun. Today was the perfect combination of learning, movement, and community as our preschoolers enjoyed a special dance party experience with their friends.

A big thank you to DJ Pre-K and our local library for creating such a fun and engaging environment for our youngest learners.

These are the moments that make summer memories so special!

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and culture. This week, our campers learned about African traditions through a fun Jollof Rice Cook-Off featuring dishes from Ghana and Nigeria.

Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of honoring history, celebrating diversity, and learning from one another. We're proud to create experiences that connect culture, community, and education every day. ✨

Summer Camp is loading… ☀️💛

But before we jump into the chaos, field trips, water days, dance parties, and unforgettable memories, we have to pause and celebrate some very special people.

Some of our counselors are stepping into a brand new season after graduating COLLEGE , and wow… what a gift they have been to our kids and our community. 🥹

These are the counselors who showed up early, stayed late, wiped tears, gave hugs, cheered kids on, broke up disagreements, led games, helped with homework, and poured love into every child they encountered.

They became safe spaces, role models, and family to so many of our campers.

Watching them grow while helping raise and inspire the next generation has been something truly special.

While we’re sad to see them move on to their next adventure, we are incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished. Your hard work, dedication, and heart did not go unnoticed.

Thank you for loving our kids so well.
Thank you for leaving an impact that will last far beyond summer camp.

The future is so bright for each of you, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to change the world. 💙🎓✨
