Greenville, N.C. Fire/Rescue

Greenville, N.C. Fire/Rescue Greenville Fire/Rescue/EMS takes great pride in serving our many customer bases.

At times we serve the community through education, sometimes through simply lending a helping han, and other times through enforcement of codes. One service that we are extremely proud to provide is our emergency response services for both fire and medical emergencies. Our goal is to help people through what is often one of the worst days of their lives. We take a great deal of pride in our servic

e commitments and operate under the premise that "people will only care about how much you know, when they know about how much you care".

A little lemonade, a lot of smiles! 🍋❤️

Some of our crews stopped by to support the daughter of one of our firefighters and her lemonade stand. We’d call that a pretty sweet way to spend the day!

We’d like to take a moment to recognize two of our outstanding personnel for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to continuing their education.

Jack Argenti was awarded a $2,000 NCSFA associate degree scholarship to help further his education, and Tony Klontz received an $8,000 NCSFA bachelor’s degree scholarship.

We are incredibly proud of both of them for taking this next step in their personal and professional growth. Their dedication to bettering themselves reflects the same commitment they bring to serving our community every day.

Please join us in congratulating Jack and Tony on this outstanding achievement!

Yesterday, Chief Anderson and Deputy Chief Harris joined fire service leaders from across North Carolina at the State Capitol for Legislative Day, sponsored by the North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association.

The day focused on advocating for issues impacting the future of the fire service across our state. Chief Anderson and Deputy Chief Harris also met privately with local legislators to discuss how several proposed bills in the current legislative session could affect both Greenville Fire/Rescue and departments statewide.

Thank you to all the legislators and leaders who took time out of a very busy day in Raleigh to meet with us and discuss these important issues.

While at the Capitol, we also had the opportunity to reconnect with Hailey Yentz, an ECU student-athlete who suffered a cardiac arrest on campus and was successfully revived through the quick actions of ECU staff and Greenville Fire/Rescue crews.

Hailey and her family were advocating alongside the American Heart Association for AED placement in all public schools, an initiative that can help save lives across North Carolina.
