The Michigan Democratic Party held its Nominating Convention on Saturday, Aug. 29 in Lansing. Delegates met in caucus and district groups to hear from our candidates.

The Montcalm County Democratic Party hosted a meet up in Carson City to introduce voters to Serenity Hope For State Rep, Democratic candidate for Michigan's 93rd House District.

The 93rd House District includes Carson City and the townships of Bloomer, Crystal, and Ferris.

Serenity will fight to put people before profit, making sure our government is working in the best interest of the people instead of corporations.

The Montcalm County Democratic Party joined Frank J. LaFata for State Representative 91st District in the Danish Festival Parade on Saturday, Aug. 22. We received many hand waves and cheers of support.

Thank you to all who helped in planning, volunteered at our booth, and helped make Danish Festival a success in many other ways. Just.Love's book giveaway was a success with many books and stuffed animals finding new homes.

Thank you to candidates Ben Ambrose for Congress and Stan Opal for spending time at our booth on Saturday.
