🚨✨ Flashing lights. Trading Sirens for Softball. 🥎 and Greenville Police Department will face off in the annual Heroes Game, benefiting Shriners Children's Greenville at Fluor Field.

👏🏽 Here’s the lineup for Sunday, August 30:
1 p.m. – Heroes Alley at District 356 featuring emergency vehicles, inflatables, music, games and more
2 p.m. – Gates open, followed by a first responder vehicle parade and Special Forces Parachute Team performance
3:05 p.m. – The Greenville Drive takes the field for its final home game of the season
5:30(ish) following the Drive game – Heroes Softball Game 🚒 vs. 🚓

🥙🎸🍻 92 musical acts, 300 food items and 60 food vendors, including 12 new vendors joining the festival this year. We got a first look at some of the bites. 👀 The full band and restaurant lineups are live at fallforgreenville.net, and mark your calendars for Oct. 9-11!

Bark your calendars! 🐾 Paws on the Pad presented by Dog Culture Greenville is making another SPLASH at the Greenville Water Splash Pad at Unity Park on Saturday, Oct. 3.

‼️ Registration is required, and spots are limited! Each person may register up to two dogs, with each dog registered separately. Dogs may have up to two handlers, and proof of vaccinations is required for all participating dogs.

Plans are WHEELY moving. 🛞💨 The City issued a request for proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk for our future Wheelsports park.

Named, “Wheels Up,” the new park will be located on a 10-acre site adjacent to the Greenville Downtown Airport and Swamp Rabbit Trail.

The park design incorporates a bicycle playground, pumptrack and skatepark, surrounded by shade structures, viewing areas, a central pavilion with restrooms, parking, landscaping and art installations.

👀 Public Safety Sneak Peek. 🚒🧑🏽‍🚒 Firefighters at Station 4 toured their future space. The current station on Stone Avenue is 75-years-old. The new one is under construction on nearby Park Avenue and will offer an equipment room for decontamination, larger bays to accommodate modern fire trucks and improved living quarters for employees.

The facility is expected to open at the end of September.👏🏽

🚒 Hero + 🚓 Hero = 🥎💰 TWO weeks from today it's Greenville Police Department vs GCFD in the annual Heroes Softball Game benefitting Shriners Children's Greenville. The game concludes First Responder Day at The Greenville Drive on Sunday, August 30.

Our firefighters made a wish come true for an 8-year-old Shriners patient from Kentucky. The small, volunteer department in Dalton's hometown asked for a VIP tour while his family was in for treatment.
