🐅🧡 ONE YEAR OF BUSINESS + GIVING BACK TO SOUTHSIDE! 🧡🐅

One of my favorite things about Southside is seeing our Tiger family continue to support one another—even after graduation! 🐅

Ms. Reynolds, one of our IB teachers has a friend who own a local restaurant and they are celebrating ONE YEAR in business today, and they’ve decided to celebrate by giving back to their alma mater, Southside High School!

The owner, Dat, is a proud Southside Tiger who graduated in 2019 from our IB program.

Today, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM, come out, support this amazing local business, celebrate their first year, and help us celebrate a former Tiger who is choosing to pour back into the school that helped shape him.

🎉 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Southside High School!

This is what it means to be a Tiger for life. 🐅🧡

Mr. Johnson’s passion for our students and commitment to their success can be seen every single day. What makes this honor even more special is that Mr. Johnson is a proud Southside alumnus! He returned to the halls that helped shape him with a mission to give back, serve his community, and make a difference in the lives of the next generation of Tigers.

Please join us in giving a HUGE congratulations to Kyren Jackson on being awarded a PAID internship with BMW! 🚗💨

Kyren, an Automotive Technology student at Donaldson Career Center, is beginning his senior year at Southside High School, and he is already shifting his future into high gear! 🔧⚙️

What makes this accomplishment even more impressive? Kyren is one of only 35 students in the entire state to receive this prestigious honor! 🌟

Anyone who knows Kyren knows that his success goes far beyond the classroom. He always has a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and is ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Those qualities, combined with his talent and work ethic, make him an outstanding representative of Southside High School.

🐅⚽ What an incredible night for our Southside Tigers!

Last night, our Boys Soccer Team was honored by the Greenville Triumph SC for bringing home the 4A State Championship in May! 🏆🧡 What a special moment for our players, coaches, families, and supporters to be recognized in front of the Greenville soccer community.

A huge THANK YOU to Zach Prince for coordinating such a memorable honor and having a heart for all students!

A special shoutout to Bharat Ganesan (Southside High School Class of ’05), President of the Greenville Clemson Club for generously providing the commemorative scarves for our players. Your support made this experience even more meaningful for our student-athletes.

We are so proud of this championship team and the legacy they have built for Southside Soccer. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! 🐅🧡⚽

Greenville County Schools’ Food and Nutrition Services will be participating in the Seamless Summer Food Service Program during the summer months.

Nutritionally-balanced meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, s*x, disability, age or national origin during summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for meals at no charge. All meals must be consumed on-site.

Greenville County Schools will operate on summer hours starting May 26. Schools and offices are closed Fridays through July 31.
