In a time where the LGBTQIA+ community is being subjected to hate and silenced by the Trump Administration, let pride month be a reminder that love is love and that love always wins.

To all those out there who have fought for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community: thank you.

To all those who are fighting right now and will in the future: thank you.

To all of you out there who have yet to show the world who you really are: there is nothing wrong with you. You are loved. And when you’re ready, we will be here to support you.

We stand with the educators and supporters taking the fight to Raleigh today to tell the GOP Legislature to pay teachers what they’re worth and pass a damn budget!

We rank 50th in education funding in the United States. We can change this. Pass the budget, raise the pay, and fund our students educations. It’s your job, republicans.

The ECU College Democrats are thrilled to endorse Raymond E. Smith Jr. For Congress to be the Democratic nominee for NC-3 to beat Greg Murphy and flip the house.

Dr. Smith knows this district, he lives here, he’s represented it in the General Assembly and his fight has been unmatched.

He’s been endorsed by Congressional Black Caucus PAC and has the support of people all across district 3. He has our support, too.
