Sometimes, despite all our best efforts, power outages happen. We make it easy to report outages through our texting system. Simply text "PEC" to 334-382-6636 and follow the prompts to enroll. Then, if you have an outage, you can just text "OUT" to the same number. This will alert our team and get help on the way!

Our Communications team, Anna and Christi, received outstanding recognition at the Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives' Annual Awards Competition, where cooperatives from across the state submit their best work for judging.

The team earned the competition's highest honor, the Darryl Gates Cooperative Communications Team of the Year Award. They also received top awards for: Best Photo, Best Feature Story, Best Wild Card (for a handmade bear made from a lineman's shirt), and Best Image or Event Campaign for our "Get the SCOOP" events. In addition, they earned an Award of Merit for Best Alabama Living Section.

We're proud of Anna Christi and thankful for the creativity, hard work and heart they put into every project. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our members and employees who make these stories, events and moments possible. These awards belong to all of us. 💚
