EXCITING DISTRICT NEWS!!!

GISD is launching an exciting new program next year that will empower students to grow up bilingual by learning in both Spanish and English. The Dual Language program is open to incoming GISD kindergarteners for the 2018-2019 school year. The program will be located at Bowie Elementary.

Applications are available now and are due by 3:00 PM on April 26th. For more information call (903) 457-2676 or visit the district website.

Mrs. Lopez bilingual kindergarten class is doing by awesome in reading. Every student has worked on their sight words and have improved. Some know over 200 sight words!!!!

Crockett Elementary supports the American Heart Association through the Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart Program. All students raised over $2000 to support this great community project. Our student who raised the highest donation individually this year was in 4th grade.
