Steve Meskers is running for a fifth term as State Representative for Greenwich’s 150th District.

From international finance to the State House, Steve has built a record focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering results. Over four terms, he has helped secure funding for local school projects, supported traffic safety improvements, expanded childcare access, strengthened public education, and backed balanced state budgets.

As Chair of the Commerce Committee, Steve continues to focus on the issues that matter most to Greenwich families: affordability, opportunity, and a strong future for our community.

As Steve often says: “Good things happen when we all work together.” That’s more than a slogan—it’s a track record.

Great to see our State Reps Hector Arzeno and Steve Meskers along with so many engaged residents at the legislative recap last night.

We heard about how lawmakers worked to preserve Connecticut’s overall fiscal stability, while making critical investments in early childcare, education, and municipal aid—including $8 million in additional reimbursement for the Old Greenwich School building project. The budget adjustment bill ultimately passed with bipartisan support, though the Republican members of the Greenwich delegation were part of a tiny contingent that voted against it.

Meet Jill Oberlander—former Greenwich Selectperson and BET Chair, now running for State Senate in the 36th district.

Oberlander is not new to public service. For 15 years, she has been one of our most respected civic leaders, bringing intelligence, integrity, and practical problem-solving to some of our most important decisions. Now, she is running for State Senate to bring that thoughtful, independent leadership to Hartford.
