Dolly Parton has given more than 300 million books to children through her Imagination Library.
It started because her daddy couldn’t read or write.

Dolly grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee, where poverty often meant children didn’t have the same opportunities as others. She knew those children weren’t less intelligent or less capable. They simply needed the same opportunities.

So she gave them books.

And what started in the Smoky Mountains grew around the world.

More than 300 million books later, Dolly proved something every educator should understand:

A child’s circumstances should never determine how we see their potential. Sometimes they just need someone to give them the opportunity to show us what they can do.

Parents and grandparents!

Has your middle school scholar been struggling in reading. If this continues, they will be in danger of not meeting high school graduation requirements.

This will keep happening if you don’t address it TODAY.

Remove the cellphones and ask them to read to you!
