Long post alertβ¦
I asked one of my parents to write a letter to help secure grant funding.
This is worth reading! Thank you, maβam. You really touched my heart with your sentiments.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing as a parent to share my experience with the reading sessions my child has been attending. From the very beginning, he has genuinely enjoyed coming to these sessions. What started as something new and unfamiliar has quickly become something he looks forward to each time. Seeing that excitement as a parent means a great deal to me.
Since working with you, I have seen real growth in ββ.
His confidence with reading has improved, and he is more willing to engage with books and talk about what he is learning. One of the things that has stood out the most is how much he has loved reading the novel you chose for the sessions. He talks about the characters and the story when he comes home, which shows me that he is not only reading but truly connecting with the material.
I also want to recognize the patience you have shown while working with ββ. Every child learns differently, and your willingness to take the time to meet him where he is has made a difference. ββ-feels comfortable during the sessions, and that kind of supportive learning environment is something every child deserves.
Another thing I appreciate as a parent is your dedication to keeping me involved in the process. You consistently communicate with me about βββprogress and what he is working on, which allows me to support him at home as well. It shows that you care not only about teaching but about building a partnership with families.
Because of the positive impact this program has had on my child, I strongly support the effort to secure funding for the camp. A program like this would be a great benefit to our community. Many families want opportunities like this for their children but simply cannot afford the fees. Providing funding would open the door for more kids to build confidence in reading, develop a love for books, and receive the kind of support that ββ-has been fortunate to experience.
I understand that you are seeking this grant so that you can continue this work and offer the same opportunity to other children who may not otherwise be able to participate. As a parent who has seen the difference this program can make, I believe this funding would help create meaningful opportunities for many families in our community.
Thank you for considering this request and for supporting programs that invest in the growth and success of our children.
Sincerely,οΏ½βββββ
