Enrollment for 2026-27 School Year
If you are transferring to our school from another district or another state, please enroll your student online through parent backpack.
The first step is to set up a Backpack account: https://parents.gcsbackpack.com/signin.aspx?fth=parent
Open your Backpack account, look for the “Enroll A New Student” section, follow the instructions, upload required documentation (see below), complete and submit enrollment.
Please upload, email, or fax (864-355-1585) the following documents to enroll your student:
- Two Proofs of residency such as mortgage, lease, water or power bill. These MUST be dated within the last 30 days.
- Parent/Guardian’s government issued photo ID.
- Student’s birth certificate.
- Student’s immunization record or religious exemption certificate. - Out-of-state immunizations need to be transferred to SC DHEC immunization form & submitted to Greer High prior to 1st day of school.
- Last report card and IEP/504 plan (if applicable).
- Court orders pertaining to custody, guardianship, no contact, etc. (if applicable)
School staff will be available on the following enrollment dates this summer to assist you with registration or updating your student’s record:
June 16 & 17, 9:00am - 3:00pm
June 23 & 24, 9:00am - 3:00pm
July 7 & 8, 9:00am - 3:00pm
July 14 & 15, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Note to GCS parents: If you have a student who is currently enrolled in a Greenville County School and you have moved, please alert your current and new school of your address change. New proof of residency will be required.
