Own a piece of Greer High history! Greer High School is selling a limited number of excess yearbooks from prior school years for $50 each.

Greenville County Schools will host a job fair on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at J. Harley Bonds Career Center, 505 North Main Street, Greer from 9:00 am -Noon. This will be a Transportation ONLY job fair focusing on hiring bus drivers & bus aides.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 from Greer High School! 🎓💛🖤

Yesterday, our seniors walked across the stage and officially became graduates. We are so proud of all of your hard work, perseverance, accomplishments, and memories made along the way.

As you begin this next chapter, remember that you will always be part of the GHS family. We can’t wait to see the amazing things each of you will accomplish.

🎶🏆 Congratulations to the Greer High School Choral Program!

We are proud to announce that the Greer High School Choral Program, under the direction of Madison Thomas, has earned the South Carolina Music Educators Association Outstanding Performance Award in the Choral Division for the 2025–2026 school year!

This is the highest honor a choral program can receive in South Carolina and recognizes excellence across all areas of performance and participation within the SCMEA Choral Division.

This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, talent, and passion of our students and director. Thank you for representing Greer High with excellence and for continuing to inspire our school and community through music.

Celebrating the hard work and success of our students at Greer High School! Students who met their growth targets or tested out of the ACCESS test were recognized with a special Chick-fil-A lunch and prize drawing. We’re proud of their dedication, perseverance, and achievement! 🎉

Big congratulations to our students and teachers for the success we saw on this semester’s EOC tests! 🎉

Students who passed their EOC exam were entered into a prize drawing, and the higher their score, the more entries they earned. Today, our lucky winners were drawn and got to pick their prizes!

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and growth shown throughout testing season. Thank you to our teachers for the support and encouragement they give students every day, and congratulations again to all of our students for their accomplishments! 👏📚

Enrollment for 2026-27 School Year

If you are transferring to our school from another district or another state, please enroll your student online through parent backpack.

The first step is to set up a Backpack account: https://parents.gcsbackpack.com/signin.aspx?fth=parent

Open your Backpack account, look for the “Enroll A New Student” section, follow the instructions, upload required documentation (see below), complete and submit enrollment.

Please upload, email, or fax (864-355-1585) the following documents to enroll your student:

- Two Proofs of residency such as mortgage, lease, water or power bill. These MUST be dated within the last 30 days.
- Parent/Guardian’s government issued photo ID.
- Student’s birth certificate.
- Student’s immunization record or religious exemption certificate. - Out-of-state immunizations need to be transferred to SC DHEC immunization form & submitted to Greer High prior to 1st day of school.
- Last report card and IEP/504 plan (if applicable).
- Court orders pertaining to custody, guardianship, no contact, etc. (if applicable)

School staff will be available on the following enrollment dates this summer to assist you with registration or updating your student’s record:

June 16 & 17, 9:00am - 3:00pm
June 23 & 24, 9:00am - 3:00pm
July 7 & 8, 9:00am - 3:00pm
July 14 & 15, 9:00am - 3:00pm

Note to GCS parents: If you have a student who is currently enrolled in a Greenville County School and you have moved, please alert your current and new school of your address change. New proof of residency will be required.
