Heat on repeat for Sunday. Forecast peak heat indices are expected to be very similar to what was observed this afternoon, mainly in the upper 90s to lower 100s in the northeast Georgia and Carolina Foothills and Piedmont.

If you have outdoor plans Sunday, drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks in shade or air conditioning, wear light-colored clothing, and try to shift strenuous activity before 10 AM or after 4 PM.
