Whoo hoo, we made it through the first week of school!
We hope you all are settling into a routine and your child is loving Woodland this year.
You should have received our pamphlet today with all of the information about our PTA and how to get involved in school this year! It provides details for how to officially join PTA and pay your dues, and our Volunteer Interest Form. I know sometimes it's annoying to scan a QR code, so I will post both links in the comments. It also includes a paper form to detach and return if you want to pay in cash.
At our Volunteer Breakfast in September, we will draw two of our members to win a raffle basket! You don't have to be present to win; you just have to officially join PTA and pay dues in Givebacks (the website the South Carolina PTA uses for memberships and PTA purchases.) Bonus points if you also complete the Volunteer Interest Form.
We are meeting next week to set the date for our Volunteer Breakfast in early September, when we will go over all of the basics of volunteering and what we do for the staff and students. (Don't worry if you can't attend....we will send out a newsletter with the highlights. But it's a free breakfast if you can attend!)
If you shop at Lowes Foods, you will find a QR code on the pamphlet to link your loyalty card to Woodland. They send us a check periodically for their Brown Bag purchases made with linked loyalty cards!
***Reminder for Faculty and Staff: We are aiming for 100% membership from our amazing faculty and staff! Please see the form in your box, and also remember to complete the Faculty Favorites form so we all know what you love! We have deleted last year's info so we can start fresh.
