🎣Thank You Greers Ferry Walleye Club in your efforts of bettering the Fishing in beautiful Greers Ferry Lake . 🎣

Paul Francis , President of the Walleye club shared some interesting information about their club and what they are doing to better the Lake for fishing.

Structure build of a reservoir is about 25 to 30 years , after the 30 year mark , the original habitat desolves leaving no place for fish to hide, grow or hunt .
Greers Ferry Lake is now 63 year old.
Our goal is to improve the habitat and make Greers Ferry Lake a better fishing lake. World Record Walleye was caught in 2022.
The club has built many structures over the last 4 years. In 2025 we built 135 spider blocks,15 Georgia cubes, That the Game and Fish placed in the lake .
The club received a $2000 grant from Friends of Reservoirs and a $4000 matching grant from Arkansas Game n Fish Foundation .
This year our build is between 🏆( 400 to 500 structures)
Everyone is invited to come out and help .

We are still accepting donations thru Arkansas Game n Fish Foundation , Greers Ferry Habitat Alliance .
Come help us restore the habitat and fishing on Greets Ferry Lake .
