Rosebud Electric lost over 15 three phase poles East of Fairfax last night. Crews are loading poles now and will be working on getting them replaced. Power will be off from Fairfax to the Ft. Randall Dam for most of the day so make plans accordingly. Please try to avoid the areas that the crews are working in.

On Tuesday night, Fairfax got hit by 70+ mile an hour winds. Four poles were broken off during the storm and numerous trees and branches were down. Crews replaced the poles yesterday and everything is back to normal.

Rosebud Electric will be having a planned power outage from 12 o’clock until 1:30 PM today for all members east of Fairfax. This outage will affect all members just east of Fairfax all the way down to the Fort Randall Dam. Crews will be changing out poles that were broken in last night storm.
We are sorry for any inconvenience.
