Grenada Adult Education Center and Elizabeth Jones Library are looking for a Part-time Adult Literacy Program Coordinator.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: Bachelor's degree. Must possess a valid driver's license and have use of a personal automobile. U.S. Citizenship. Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably Publisher). Strong oral communication skills. Complete Library application form with attached typed resume and submit to the Library Director. Have original college transcript sent directly to the Library Director upon request. All application materials are due as soon as possible.

The paint party was a success! 39 painters went home with a little bit of their own sunshine after having the freedom to paint their flower frogs as they wished and picking out little flowers to place in the grid.

Save the Date Kiddo Event… not a far drive to Greenwood

Fishing rodeo is this coming Saturday in Greenwood if you have any little fishermen up to age 15!

No qualifications except for being age 15 and under. It’s free! Be at Florewood State Park at 7 am for sign up. THIS COMING Saturday June 6! Fishing starts at 8 am! Tagged fish win a prize. You get to keep all you catch! The pond will be stocked with catfish the day before the rodeo so there are lots of fish to catch! Bring a fishing pole, bait, and something to take your fish home in.
