REMINDER: Disaster Survivor Assistance Centers for DR-48-99 in the following counties will open on Monday, May 11th at 8:00 a.m.: Carroll, Coahoma, Grenada, Holmes, Montgomery, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Yalobusha Counties.
Disaster Recovery Centers in Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Leflore, Panola and Yazoo Counties remain open.

🚨 Severe Weather Threat🚨
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe storms in Mississippi from Wednesday afternoon (5/6/26) into early Thursday morning (5/7/26).

Mississippi could experience:
🌬️Damaging winds up to 70 mph
🧊Hail up to golf ball size
🌪️Tornadoes (strong tornadoes are possible)
