The Jefferson Parish Personnel Department will be hosting an informational job fair event for all people interested in learning about job opportunities with the Jefferson Parish Public Works Departments, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Department of Public Works – Streets Maintenance Building (200 Shrewsbury Rd., Jefferson, LA 70121) from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

There are many open positions and computers will be available during the event for accepting online applications.

The Jefferson Parish Personnel Department will be hosting two informational job fair events for all people interested in learning about job opportunities with the Jefferson Parish Public Works Departments. These job fair events are intended to provide an opportunity to speak with Drainage, Engineering, Parkways, Sewerage, Streets and Water representatives, to obtain information about the current jobs, and answer questions about the application process. Computers will be available during the event for accepting online applications.

On Tuesday, Apr. 26, 2022, the Jefferson Parish Workforce Connections Department in partnership with the Jefferson Parish Personnel Department, will be hosting a Job Expo at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, LA 70094) from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This expo is open to anyone interested in learning about job opportunities within Jefferson Parish Government. This event is intended to provide an opportunity to speak with department representatives, obtain information about current jobs and answer questions about the application process.

Please note, the department representatives will not be conducting interviews or accepting resumes during this expo.
