This epic new playground has been years in the making, and it’s packed with play for every kiddo. From the Fire Station and Market Café for ages 2–5, to inclusive pieces like the We‑Go‑Round and We‑Go‑Swing, the Rhapsody instruments, ZipKrooz, and of course, the show‑stopping Super Netplex Tower — there’s something for every kind of adventurer.

Wilton’s new splash pad is officially open, and wow — what a moment. From the customized Water Tower feature to the Nautilus2 slide, this project is packed with personality. The ribbon cutting drew an incredible crowd, but the real highlight was all the laughter and smiling faces soaking up the fun.

We’re thrilled to be part of this project — the new Landscape Structures ship‑themed playground is going to be a true showstopper.

Words aren’t the only way to be heard — symbols and pictures give everyone a voice! A Symbol Communication Sign at the playground entrance helps everyone step into the fun with confidence and joy.

Landscape Structures created signs with bright, simple graphics that are designed to be super easy to understand. They read left‑to‑right like a sentence, use color cues to show different word types, and pop against a black background for better visibility — especially for anyone with visual processing or vision challenges.

Even better, communication signs can be customized to match the play features on site and are available in both English and Spanish, making them a welcoming tool for even more families.

And if you caught the May issue of NRPA’s Parks & Recreation magazine, you might’ve seen a powerful story about how one determined parent, one park administrator, and one chance phone call helped spark a movement to bring communication signs to multiple communities. Inclusion grows when people team up — and we love seeing it happen.

The bright orange arches at Gene Leahy mall pop up like giant gateways to adventure that practically begs kids to come explore. These custom climbers turn the whole space into a choose‑your‑own‑path playground—inviting adventurers to scramble up cable nets, bounce across rubber belting, and hop between pods. Tucked under one of the arches you'll find pod steppers dangling from cables, creating a playful challenge for kids to weave, wiggle, and wander their way through.

The space also features a classic style climbing wall with colorful handholds and footholds, daring kids to climb and hang like superheroes. When it’s time for a speedy getaway, sleek stainless steel slides built right into the park’s natural hills offer pure joy from start to finish.
