Is your child ready for 7th grade? Tdap, HPV, and meningococcal vaccines help keep kids healthy and are recommended for preteens and teens.

🔷Tdap protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (required for 7th grade).
🔷 HPV helps prevent several types of cancer.
🔷Meningococcal protects against meningitis and blood infections.

Exciting news in Gridley today! County of Butte broke ground on a new behavioral health center that will expand mental health services in the southern part of the County.

This is a $7.17 million project that will be 9,823 square feet with provider offices, consulting on rooms, support services spaces for group therapy, restrooms all with parking, landscaping, sidewalks, and exterior lighting.

This project will take about 14 months to complete.

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: PERMANENT TURNING CHANGES AT CHERRY ST. & HIGHWAY 99 🚨

As part of the Highway 99 Caltrans project, traffic patterns at Cherry Street and Highway 99 have changed.

Please be aware of the following:

➡️ TRAVELING EAST ON CHERRY STREET:
You may ONLY turn RIGHT (southbound) onto Highway 99.
🚫 Left turns (northbound) onto Highway 99 are NO LONGER PERMITTED.

⬅️ TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 99:
You may NO LONGER turn LEFT (westbound) onto Cherry Street. A permanent raised island has been installed to prevent this movement.

⚠️ These are permanent traffic changes, not temporary construction restrictions.

Please follow all posted traffic signs and pavement markings, plan your route accordingly, and use an alternate route if needed.
