We're aware that a recent iOS update is causing Hoopla to crash for some patrons, and we're sorry for the disruption to your reading, watching, and listening.

While we work on a permanent fix, here's a temporary workaround that's resolved the issue for most affected patrons:
*Delete the Hoopla app from your device
*Restart your device
*Reinstall Hoopla from the App Store
We've submitted an updated version of the app to Apple for review, and we're actively monitoring that process. We don't have an exact timeline to share yet, since review times are outside our control, but we'll be sure to share with you as soon as the fix is live.

Even though our Summer Reading is done-we got notice of this a couple of weeks ago and will submit the names of the youth who participated in our Summer Reading Program!

Spice society bags are available at the library! This month's spice is Basil!

Starting in August 2026, the Gridley Library will feature a specific flavor enhancer (spice, herb, etc.) and provide a kit for patrons! The kit will include a sample of the month’s special ingredient and a couple of recipes to try! We hope to have a new spice each month, we will gauge it by interest and see what our frequency ends up being!
