Bear Family, if you were unable to attend our Mission Impact Annual Title I Meeting, we still want to make sure you have access to the important information that was shared with our families.

During the meeting, we discussed the purpose of Title I, programs and supports available to help our scholars succeed, our School Parent and Family Engagement Policy, School-Parent Compact, and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). We also shared information about GSCS instructional frameworks, family engagement opportunities, parent decision-making and volunteer opportunities, and resources available through our school and district Parent Resource Centers.

GA Tutor is a FREE online tutoring program available to Georgia public school students in grades 9–12. Through Georgia Virtual Learning, scholars can receive one-on-one academic support from Georgia-certified teachers who are ready to help strengthen skills, close learning gaps, and support academic success.

Attention GHS Senior Scholars and Parents/Guardians! Herff Jones will be on campus during all lunches on the following dates for Class of 2027 cap and gown orders:

📅 Tuesday, November 3rd

📅 Wednesday, January 27th

✅ Plan ahead and place your order on one of the dates listed above to avoid late fees.

🚨 Important: The last day to order caps and gowns before distribution is March 31st.
