Our friends over at Spalding County Extension will be offering ServSafe Food Manager Certification training and exam. If you're a new food service manager, or if you need to renew your five-year manager certification, this course is for you!

The content for this training will be delivered in one day from 8:30 AM to 6 PM with the exam directly following completion of course material. For 2026, the dates are June 30, September 21, and December 15. The course topics include food safety at all stages, facilities and pest management, cleaning and sanitizing, and more!
Cost: $150, includes 5 hours of in-person review with a 1-hour lunch break (on your own), course book, study materials, certification exam, drinks and snacks during the training. Payment is accepted over the phone or in person.
Course book and study materials must be picked up no later than 2 weeks prior to the training date so that you study BEFORE the exam date. To receive your certification, you need to receive a score of 70% or higher. If you do not pass the exam, you may re-test within 30 days for an additional $70.
Training & exam may be rescheduled or cancelled due to low participation. If you need a reasonable accommodation or language access services, contact the UGA Extension Spalding County office at 770-467-4225 at least 3 weeks before the training.
