On Monday the Griffith FOP held it's annual Cops and Kids Christmas Shopping. This event would not have been possible without the donations from the Griffith Community. We were able to take 46 kids shopping at Meijer in Highland.

It is with great sadness, the Griffith Police Department announces the passing of Gino, Griffith’s first police K-9. We will truly miss you.

The Griffith FOP is once again doing a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $10 and the drawing will be held on June 27th. Come out tonight to Central market & see us! It's a beautiful night to enjoy the great outdoors & have some delicious food! Stop by the FOP table next to the pavilion to get your tickets!

Griffith F.O.P. Lodge #161 held its annual Cops and Kids, sponsored by Highland Meijer, on December 16th. This year’s event may have looked a little different with capacity limitations and social distancing in place, but our officers still stepped up the holiday cheer by visiting children at home to deliver gifts. The generosity of Highland Meijer and donors and hard work of our officers allowed Griffith F.O.P. to help 40 children and their families shop for the holiday and provided them with groceries, as well.

Griffith F.O.P. would like to extend its appreciation and gratitude to Highland Meijer for sponsoring Cops and Kids 2020, our officers for participating, Sgt. Sines for organizing the event, and our amazing community and businesses for their monetary donations and support. We could not have done it without your help!!
