Just a few more days until the Dallas Center Halloween Celebration and the DCBF Pumpkin Walk! We are so excited to be able to present this year's walk!

Pumpkin Walk Details:
October 28, 2023; 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

For adults:
Punch card drawing
Tour the Pumpkin Walk to visit each participating business and receive a mark on your punch card. Full punch cards will be entered into a drawing!

Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest Voting
Vote for the business who has the best carved/decorated pumpkin!
Voting ends at 5:15 pm

For kids:
Trick or Treat through the Pumpkin Walk
Trick or Treat with the participating businesses as you journey through the DCBF Pumpkin Walk (Trick or Treat bags provided).

Punch cards, voting forms, and Trick or Treat bags can be picked up at the DCBF info booth on Saturday (the booth will be located in the south end of the Roy R. Estle Memorial Library) from 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm.

Be sure to check out all the activities for the Dallas Center Halloween Celebration starting at 3 pm! So much fun in one day!

12DAYS LEFT!! It’s like a count down to Christmas Day!! Please let me know if you would like a sign for your yard, as I still have a couple left and/or any flyers to help hand out to neighbors. I was out and about over the weekend and was “thanked” by so many for the selfless job we as school members do for the schools, students and administrators!!

I was also asked about ANOTHER “nice” RUMOR about me, that I am for ALL private schools and funding. That is FAR FROM THE TRUTH!! I came from a small town in Iowa and my school district had to join another school district going into my Junior year and that was crushing to me. I will work to help increase our student numbers and retain the EXCELLENT teachers, staff and administrators that we have at DCG. I will also work with others on recruiting new staff and teachers into the DCG school system. THANK YOU, for those that stopped and talked to me instead of believing what you hear.

Ask me about my “Why’s” and I will tell you the truth. Anyone that knows me, knows that I spreak the truth and don’t sugar coat anything and that might be upsetting to some but I think for myself. I also base my decisions off my own personal reasons, values and morals.
