A special thank you to Colleen at Solera for hosting and providing us the amazing charcuterie and great hospitality all night! And thank you, Abi Reiland for taking the time to give an amazing presentation that was both inspiring and incredibly genuine. 🫶🏻

Congratulations to the Grinnell Veterans Memorial Commission and the City of Grinnell on the official lighting of the new Grinnell Veteran’s Monument, taking place this Saturday at 7 pm in Central Park.

The Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation and the Claude W. & Dolly Ahrens Foundation were honored to help support fundraising efforts throughout this 11-year campaign. It has been a privilege to be a part of a project that will serve as a lasting tribute to the brave veterans who served our country.

Thank you to everyone whose generosity, dedication, and hard work helped make this vision a reality. We can’t wait to see the monument illuminated for the very first time and celebrate this milestone with our community.

We are so excited to officially launch our Ahrens Park t-shirts, available for purchase starting now! 🥳🌳

100% of the proceeds from these sales go straight toward supporting the Ahrens Park Foundation, helping us keep our trails, playgrounds, gardens, and community spaces beautiful, safe, and free for everyone to enjoy.

We love our community, which is why we teamed up with the talented local graphic designer, Anya Hart, to bring this design to life! We are also proud to be partnering with Awards Unlimited to handle the printing and sales.

The online shop is open from now until Friday, July 10th. Because these are custom-made to order, they will not be ready to wear by the 4th of July, but they will be the perfect way to show your park pride all year long! Available in adult and youth sizes.
