Chateau on the River This unique venue is located inside Elizabeth Park along the Detroit River across from Grosse Ile Island.

The Chateau on the River is located within the grounds of Elizabeth Park in Trenton, Michigan. The historic park was given to Wayne County Parks by the Slocum Family in the 1920's. This unique venue is located along the Detroit River across from Grosse Isle Island. The Chateau on the River is a newly renovated facility that features granite bathrooms, a Riverview terrace, and cocktail/reception sp

ace adjacent to the Main Hall. The Main Hall has a capacity for 190 guests and features a state of the art AV system including twin projectors and sound system that can be sync'd with an iPod, iPhone or iTouch.
