🏛️ Township Board Meeting Tonight!

It’s Monday night on Grosse Ile, which can only mean one thing… democracy is calling. 📞

The Township Board of Trustees meets tonight at 7:00 PM in the Merle Solomon Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of Township Hall, 9601 Groh Road.

Tonight’s lineup includes the Township audit results, Macomb Street items, playground equipment, the Township Hall center island, Toll Bridge bond financial advisors, the 2026 Winter Tax Levy and more. In other words, we’ve got a little something for everyone. 🏗️💰🛝

🚦 New pedestrian safety feature on Grosse Ile Parkway!

Our friends at Grosse Ile Walks & Bikes put together a helpful guide explaining the new High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) near the Free Bridge.

The signal works a little differently than a traditional traffic light, so knowing what the different light sequences mean is important for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike.
