REMINDER: We accept gently used puzzles for resale at our Friends Store!! Is it time for you to make a puzzle swap with us? All items only $1.

Donation Day is Wednesday, June 10th this week. Please drop off your gently used books, puzzles, DVDs, and CDs to the Woods Branch between 5 - 7pm.

Today is DONATION DAY at the Woods Branch from 10am-1pm.
Please bring your books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles and a Friends volunteer will be there to assist.

DO-NUT forget that tomorrow, Saturday (June 6) is a DONATION DAY from 10AM-1PM at the Woods Branch. We will gladly take your gently used books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles. All proceeds go directly back to our Grosse Pointe Public Libraries!

On this World Bicycle Day, we are fondly remembering our Ride to Read Book Crawl event from 2025. We are planning to host this event in the fall and visit bookish places around Grosse Pointe - we hope you will join us! Details will be posted here in late summer.

The Metro Detroit Silent Book Club Summer Passport Program launches today! Join a Silent Book Club meeting at any of the 22 participating chapters and earn entries into the prize drawing. You can start by getting a passport at your local chapter's meeting. The local GP Chapter has two meeting locations - The War Memorial on June 9th, July 14 and August 11th and the Ewald Branch on July 9.

The Friends is a proud sponsor of the Summer Reading Program that begins tomorrow, June 1st. The theme for this summer is: Unearth a Story.
June 1 - August 8

Prize drawings and fun events for all ages and free books for kids and teens. You are sure to Unearth a Story at the library!

Kids and Teens can stop by their branch to pick up a bag to get started. Bags available while supplies last but are not required for participation.
