Be a Good Neighbor and Keep Your Alley Clean!
Recent inspections conducted by the City have identified a substantial number of property maintenance concerns throughout portions of our community, particularly along alleys and at the rear of residential properties.
In some areas, conditions have been allowed to deteriorate well beyond what should reasonably be expected in Grosse Pointe Park. Overgrown vegetation, deteriorated garages and fences, broken pavement, accumulated debris, improperly stored materials and other maintenance issues negatively affect not only the individual property, but neighboring properties and the appearance and quality of the entire neighborhood.
It is time for us, collectively, to take responsibility and address these conditions.
Letters will be sent out soon asking for voluntary compliance.
Please review the letter and checklist here:

We Need Your Input!
*Please use the LINK below to share your input! Comments made in this post may not be counted when we do the data analysis.

The Charlevoix Streetscape improvements are really moving along, bringing a fresh look and renewed energy to the area. Now we're looking ahead to the next step—creating an identity that reflects what makes this area special and where it's headed.

And we want the community to help shape it.

In TWO words, what would you like people to think or feel when they experience this area?

Your responses will help us identify the qualities, character and aspirations that matter most to the community.

We'll combine the responses into a community word cloud and use the recurring words and themes to help guide the development of a new identity, including potential branding, signage, slogans and visual elements for the area.

Two words. One shared identity. Help us define what's next.
