Community awareness.

If you are wondering who is the one going around Groton during the day knocking on doors, it is a university student from Louisiana, Brady “The Education Man” Caldwell”. He is doing a summer exchange program selling educational books and apps for families from newborns all the way to college prep. This is Brady’s 1st week in Groton, so if you see him, don't be shy to say hi! Brady is legit and has acquired his vendor's permit approved by the Village of Groton.

We understand there are concerns the new meters we are installing are affecting your electric charges. This is not the case. The reason your electric cost (as well as the rest of the states) has increased is due to the increased usage and cost to provide power during this unusual cold snap. The process of replacing our old, outdated meters has been a project we have been working on for a couple of years and is now being implemented to provide better efficiency and accurate reads.
