Former Chief Lawhorne brought out **the Deuce** to today’s EPIC Cruise-In, Trucks & Heroes event in Elkton— and took home the **Fan Favorite** award! 👏🔥

With so many incredible vehicles and several well-deserved winners, it’s pretty special to see a Grottoes resident and his Deuce get the crowd’s vote.

**Congratulations, Chief Lawhorne!** And thank you to EPIC for putting together a great event honoring our military and first responders. 🇺🇸

🚧 **Parking Lot Paving Complete at John E. Painter Park!** 🚧

We're happy to share that paving of the parking lot at John E. Painter Park has been completed!

The new pavement will be open for parking beginning **Monday afternoon**. Thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation while this improvement was underway. Please stay off the paved area until Monday, July 20, 2026.

We appreciate your support as we continue making improvements to our parks and public spaces. We hope you enjoy the upgraded parking area!
