Falcon Flyers Youth Clinic is a basketball clinic designed for boys and girls in kindergarten through 3rd grade who are looking to learn and develop the basic fundamentals of basketball in a fun and encouraging environment. Students will be introduced to essential skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork, defense, and teamwork through age-appropriate drills, games, and activities.

Our focus is on building confidence, improving coordination, and helping young athletes develop a love for the game while learning the importance of effort, sportsmanship, and having fun.

Brooke Brekke will represent ACGC in AA Girls Golf and Kenlie Blom will advance for A Track & Field.

The 7th graders in Mrs. Barka's science class were hard at work, during the last days of the school year, exploring earthworms and frogs through dissections.

Our Track & Field team will be competing today at Saint John's University with events beginning at 10:30 AM!

Our Boys and Girls Golf teams are also looking to punch their tickets to the Minnesota State High School League State Tournament as they compete in the second round of section play.

Today’s Featured Falcon is Jaida Wendinger!

Who was an ACGC teacher who made an impact on you and how?
“When I think back on teachers that made an impact on me it's hard to think of just one so I’ll list out my main ones!

Mucciacciaro, she impacted me by helping me with the transition from elementary to middle school and eventually preparing me for high school. She gave me the desire to do my best!

Mr. Singsank was an amazing history teacher who brought out my desire to truly think about the lessons and warnings of the past while forging a path forward.

Mrs. Johnson, we didn't have too many personal connections but the way she carries herself in the classroom being stern and empathic is something I'll always strive to be.

Mrs. Hein taught me that it is ok to ask for help, which is a lesson I struggle with sometimes, but I get better every year!

Finally, Fitzgerald because she saw my artistic abilities and has always supported and encouraged me on my journey. I thank her for being one of the reasons I keep going with art.”

What is your favorite memory from high school?
“My favorite memory is after our theater performances me and a group of theater kids would make a circle and sing California Girls at the top of our lungs. It was a spectacle, but we all had fun.”

What advice would you give to younger Falcons?
“Talent is the ability to pursue an interest. Nobody is good at something at first, don't let it bring you down.”

What are your plans for after graduation?
I'm planning to go to college at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
