Pleasant Township Fire Department

10/17/2026

While the rest of Ohio is glued to the Buckeyes game (and let’s be honest… it’s intense out there 👀), the new guys at Pleasant Township Fire were out putting in the work.
Hose loads, deployments, and some solid training on a cloudy Saturday.
The game’s on, the score’s tight, but these guys still showed up ready to learn. Respect.
Go Bucks…and stay safe out there. 🏈🔥

More great moments from Pleasant Township Fire Department’s 50th Anniversary!

Thank you to Grove City Ohio Government Mayor Stage, for joining us! One of the highlights was honoring Chief Harry Jahn, Pleasant Township’s very first Fire Chief, who helped lay the foundation for 50 years of service.

And Franklin County Sheriff's Office Sheriff Baldwin even stopped by to meet Sparky! 🐾🔥 We’re still trying to figure out who was more excited! 😂

🚒 Our youngest firefighters are already learning the ropes, and that fire extinguisher takes teamwork! ❤️Little hands, big determination. We love seeing our youngest visitors jump in, learn something new, and have fun at the firehouse. 🚒

🚨 Hey Everyone!
Our Chief is happily working in his Paper Hat Uniform at the Fish Fry, making sure every fish is perfect. He keeps looking at the door, waiting for more guests. The fish is crispy, sides are great, and the vibe is good. Come tonight or tomorrow with your family and appetite to support Prairie Township Firefighters Association. Don’t let him eat all the leftovers alone.. 🐟😏
