Veteran's Day Parade Information!

The Veterans Day Parade will be held on November 8 at 12 noon. The parade will start on E. Main St. at Greenwood Dr., travel west on E. Main St, turn right onto S. Broad St., right onto E. Pine St and travel E. Pine St to Harvard St, where it will then disperse. Please refer to the attached map for the route.

We suggest you plan ahead for traffic delays in the immediate area or plan to travel an alternate route.

This week, four of our members traveled to the State Fire Academy to participate in the Truck Academy 1 class. The members were Firefighter Zack King, Firefighter Bobby Hershey, Lieutenant Don Seybert, and Captain Braden Ray.

Tonight the Pine Township Board of Supervisors joined the Grove City Borough passing an ordinance to permit qualifying volunteers to be eligible for tax rebates. This coming ahead of Pine Township Engine Company, Mercer County’s celebration of their 40 years of service to the Pine Township community, during their Community Day event on October 11th.

Ordinances that pass such tax rebates for volunteer firefighters, according to Hoffman, help bolster recruitment and retention in these volunteer fire departments.
