Gardens at Gantz Farm A four season public herb garden within the Grove City Park System supported by a volunteer group No admission charge

The Gardens at Gantz Farm is a four-season public herb garden within the Grove City Park System supported by a volunteer group through fundraising, education, and charitable efforts. The Gardens are open from dawn to dusk daily. Please do not pick or remove any plants from the Gardens. Plants may elicit allergic reactions and many are not intended for culinary use. Please do not eat or handle the

plants in the Gardens or allow pets or children in your care to do so. Garden tours for groups of ten or more can be arranged by calling the Farmhouse at 614-871-6323 during business hours. The Gantz Farmhouse is home to Parks and Recreation offices and programming space. It is not open to the general public for tours. It’s ready!!!! Last Saturday the Gardens at Gantz Farm offered a class on distilling roses for floral water- hydrosol - and essential oils. We ended up with 2 quarts of lovely, fragrant rose water. The participants went home with an 8 oz spray bottle of fresh rose hydrosol. I also explained that there were other ways to make rose water, including covering fresh petals with water and steeping them like tea. Here are the results.
