’Twas the night before school at Monterey,
Backpacks are packed for the big first day!🎒
ALL fourth graders are ready to go,
Plus K–3, last names A–G in tow!

Say hi to Mrs. Reno at drop-off out front,
Mrs. Jordan’s in the halls joining the fun!
Ms. Rad’s in the gym, Mrs. Chester has tunes,
And Mrs. Burley’s making art masterpieces soon! 🎨🎶

So brush those teeth and get tucked in tight—
Monterey, we’ll see you bright and early…
