Congratulations Monica! You are Grover Beach Elementary’s Employee of Excellence!
Monica Villegas is truly the heart and soul of the front office at Grover Beach Elementary IB World School. As our Lead Secretary, she embodies what it means to put "Our Kids First" every single day. She runs the office like a well-oiled machine, ensuring that students, staff, and families feel genuinely welcomed, supported, and cared for the second they walk through our doors.
What makes Monica so incredible is her ability to make a profoundly difficult job look completely effortless. Even while operating without her partner secretary for an extended period of time, she hasn't missed a beat. She has single-handedly maintained a calm, organized, and positive environment that keeps our entire school running smoothly. She is a master multitasker, navigating a non-stop wave of interruptions with grace, a smile, and a consistently high quality of work.
Monica is an absolute rockstar, an invaluable asset to our school community, and someone who genuinely puts our kids first in absolutely everything she does. Monica is quick to celebrate the accomplishments of our staff, and she is a constant champion and cheerleader for our students. Quite simply, everyone loves Monica and we are lucky that she chooses to pour her care and talents into Grover Beach Elementary!
