❕️‼️⚠️ UNEARTH A STORY UPDATE! ⚠️‼️❕️
We are now three weeks into the Summer Reading Program, and it is time to Unearth our progress. The treasure chest has been replenished with prizes for participants who have reached the first level. A variety of neon cup combinations are available for all ages who have achieved the second book level. Many have already attained the third level and claimed their loaded tote bags, which were available for ages 0-17, while the adult bag remains available. Additionally, we are offering free Tincaps tickets and other rewards for participants who submit their reading logs. Please inquire about these tickets for fun summer activities. Three Dino Book Club coloring contest posters have been submitted and are currently on display. We encourage you to continue reading and submitting your logs. Thank you to all enthusiastic participants thus far. Please note that library online services are unavailable today, but books can still be checked out in person, and the branch is open for other summer reading activities until 7PM today. The PCCL system will be closed tomorrow in observance of Juneteenth but will resume operations on Saturday, June 20th. 🦕

The Paulding County Carnegie Library and its branch locations — Antwerp Branch Library, Grover Hill Branch Library, Oakwood Branch Library, and Payne Branch Library — are currently experiencing an internet outage affecting access to online services.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work diligently with our service provider to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.

All library locations remain open, and in-person services are available during regular operating hours. Staff members are happy to assist patrons with available resources and services during this interruption.

We will provide updates as soon as internet service has been restored.

Although new to our branch, Vicki is a familiar face within the Paulding County Carnegie Library system, having clerked at our main branch for over a decade. Vicki brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for literature. Providing reader recommendations is one of her favorite aspects of her position. Ask her to Unearth a Story for you! Additionally, Vicki is a registered Notary and will soon offer notary services during her scheduled library hours. We invite you to visit, explore our collection, and extend a warm welcome to Vicki. 🦖 What a ROAR-some time we had at Munchkin Club Story Time today during our Unearth a Story Adventure! Our little dino lovers enjoyed reading Dinosaurs Love Underpants and were thrilled by a special visit from T-Rex Tawnya, who showed up wearing her fabulous pink underpants! The munchkins giggled their way through the Underpants Game, got creative designing their very own pair of dinosaur underpants, and cooled off with a tasty popsicle treat. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and little readers who joined us for this prehistoric adventure. Join us at the Grover Hill Branch Library for a dino-mite morning as we read Dinosaurs Love Underpants by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort. We’ll enjoy interactive games, fun crafts, and tasty snacks while digging into a prehistoric adventure together! 🇺🇸🎉 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🎉🇺🇸

Today, our Grover Hill Senior Bingo group celebrated America’s 250th Birthday in patriotic style! Patrons wore their favorite red, white, and blue outfits, enjoyed a community burger cookout, and gathered to sing Happy Birthday to America.

The celebration ended with cupcakes and candles for everyone to blow out as we honored 250 years of freedom, friendship, and community. ❤️🤍💙

REMINDER: Senior Bingo as always is tomorrow, the second Thursday of the month. We will be celebrating America's 250th birthday with a community burger cookout. Guests are encouraged to wear patriotic garb or the color orange. This event is currently completely, fully, and possibly over booked, lol.
