GROVER
Grover Elementary School

A huge THANK YOU to our Grover volunteer fire department for spending the past two days with us! Our students had the opportunity to learn important fire safety tips and what to do in the event of a fire.
We are so grateful for the time, knowledge, and care you shared with our students. These are lessons that could one day make a life-saving difference!
Thank you for being such an important part of our school and community and for always taking the time to support our students. We appreciate you!

Here is another example of how much Chief Joe Boheler means to the Grover Rural VFD. After serving 20 years as Chief Joe retired at the end of 1992. During the 1993 year we wanted to honor and celebrate his service with a way that will always be remembered.

We named the Grover Fire Station in his honor! So it’s not just the Grover Fire Department located on Main Street. It was name the Joe Boheler building. So now 33 years after he retired the building still stands as a permanent landmark of his legacy.

If you see Joe out today be sure to thank him for what he did for our little community from 1970-1992.
