📚 Happy Retirement, Ms. Lou! 🎉
After 45 years with the Groves Public Library — starting here when she was only 17 years old — Ms. Louella Doucet has officially retired, and honestly, I don't think any of us are ready... ❤️😭
If you know Ms. Lou, you know she is always trying to "give people a happy." That's just who she is. She has spent decades making this library feel warm and welcoming to everyone who has walked through the doors, and SO MUCH (of what people love about this place) comes from her.
We are going to miss her SO MUCH, but we also want to give everyone the chance to celebrate her the way she would celebrate everyone else!
So, PLEASE help us give Ms. Lou "a happy"!

Después de 45 años en la Biblioteca Pública de Groves (empezó aquí cuando tenía apenas 17 años), la Sra. Louella Doucet se jubila oficialmente, y honestamente, no creo que ninguno de nosotros esté listo… ❤️😭
Si conocen a la Sra. Lou, saben que ella siempre anda buscando “regalarle una alegría a la gente”. Así es ella. Pasó décadas haciendo de esta biblioteca un lugar cálido y acogedor para todos los que cruzan la puerta, y MUCHÍSIMO de lo que la gente ama de este lugar viene de ella.
La vamos a extrañar TANTÍSIMO, pero también queremos darle a todos la oportunidad de celebrarla como ella celebraría a cualquier otra persona.
