📣 MAJOR SHOW VALIDATION TAG REMINDER!

If you are planning to exhibit at a 2027 Texas Major Livestock Show, don’t forget that validation tag prices will increase beginning September 1!

🐑 Lambs
🐐 Goats
🐄 Heifers

Tag Pricing:
➡️ Through August 31: $30 per tag
➡️ September 1–October 20: $35 per tag

If you know you will need a validation tag, be sure to get your order in by August 31 to take advantage of the lower price.

📅 Physical validation will take place in October. Additional information regarding validation dates and requirements will be shared as it becomes available.

Please share with any 4-H and FFA families who may need major show validation tags!

A new 4-H year is here! Here are a few important dates and updates for our Trinity County 4-H families:

📅 AUGUST 17 — 4-H ENROLLMENT OPENS!
Enrollment is now open for ALL 4-H members and adult volunteers through the new Texas 4-H enrollment system.

2026 4H General Photography Contest. Registration Opens this Saturday, August 15th thru October 2nd on TX4H.com (New online registration). Fee is $15.00 and all photos will need to be uploaded into the online system by October 2, 2026.

🍀 Trinity County 4-H Enrollment Opens August 17! 🍀

It’s almost time for a new 4-H year! New and returning 4-H members and adult volunteers may begin enrolling Monday, August 17, for the 2026–2027 year.

This year, Texas 4-H is transitioning to the NEW TX4H enrollment system, so all members and volunteers will need to use the new system.
