My career field!!! Aerospace Ground Equipment is the lifeline of the flight line. Aerospace Ground Equipment technicians are responsible for maintaining the generation equipment essential to aircraft maintenance such as mobile generators and munition handling units used in uploading aircraft munitions. AGE technicians are high skilled mechanics certified and trained in a wide variety of mechanic related specialties such as hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.

When United States Air Force aircraft are on the ground, they’re in the hands of our Aerospace Ground Equipment specialists.

These Airmen inspect, maintain and repair a wide variety of equipment that supplies hydraulic pressure, air pressure and electricity for our planes to function properly.
