Our 10‑week‑old boxer/beagle mixes were born right here at the shelter, and they’ve mastered the art of puppy eyes, wiggly butts, and tiny zoomies. They’re officially ready to go home — and their adoption fee is only $20.

Huge thanks to all the amazing adopters who made this week so special! Seeing so many pets head off to their new families fills our hearts every time. As we head into the long weekend, please remember we’ll be closed Monday for Memorial Day. Wishing everyone a fun, safe, and peaceful weekend.

Columbia County offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day. County offices will resume normal business operations on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 8:00 AM.

​Columbia County Libraries (Evans, Grovetown and Harlem) will be closed Saturday, May 23, 2026 through Monday, May 25, 2026 and will resume normal business operations on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. All book drops will be locked during this time to prevent overfilling.
