Big day in Blackhawk County.

The crew got this bridge overlay poured today. 2 pump trucks and little bit of misty air. This one took a little more planning and engineering because of the turn and angle of the bridge, but no big deal.

Cedar Falls Mayors Pedestrian Bridge

If you've driven through the Cedar Falls area lately you've likely seen Boulder trucks along the roadways.

Our crew is here at the Mayors Bridge to pour new approaches on both sides of the bridge to keep it smoother and safer for the community to travel through.

Working with the engineering team in Cedar Falls to make sure the bridge framing is strong and secure while working on and around it is important.

Can't wait to have this one open for the public.

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Lane Hartwig for his hard work and dedication at Boulder Contracting.

Lane has been part of the Boulder team for the past 3.5 years, working as a laborer and playing a big role in many of our concrete projects. From long days on the jobsite to making sure the work is done right, Lane consistently shows the kind of work ethic and commitment that keeps our projects moving forward.
