VDEM remains on the ground in the impacted areas of Southwest Virginia conducting joint preliminary damage assessments with FEMA. To date, we have received numerous self reports of damages, and have conducted nearly 400 residential damage assessments.

If you have not yet reported your damage, please contact your local emergency management office. This data is used by the state and FEMA to determine eligibility for potential recovery resources.
